The Job: Finance Lead

As the Finance Lead, you will be pivotal in our financial operations, with responsibilities that encompass:

Supervising all aspects of finance and accounting functions, providing effective support to the finance team.
Taking a hands-on approach, actively participating in financial operations.
Leading the production of accurate and timely monthly financial statements for performance analysis and reporting.
Maintain and evolve effective accounting and internal control policies and procedures.
Assisting in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
Conducting comprehensive financial analysis and forecasts.
Coordinating year-end closing activities with external accountants.
Serving as the point of contact for the CRA, external accounting firms and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of fiscal management or accounting experience, including leadership roles.
Profound understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
Proven ability to lead finance teams and oversee financial operations.
Knowledge of financial laws and regulations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in financial software and ERPs.
