Primary Job Duties

As a Nesting Specialist in our MC3 division, your primary responsibilities will include:

Nesting parts for laser and plasma machines using Sigma Nest software.
Efficiently tracking sheet and plate inventory.
Inputting, recording different material grades.
Reading manufacturing drawings.
Performing other related duties as required to support production operations.

Job Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Previous nesting experience, preferably using Sigma Nest software.
A strong work ethic and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and rectify mistakes before work reaches the shop floor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Proficiency in prioritization and time management to meet production schedules.
Knowledge of CNC Plasma and Laser cutting technology.
Prior experience within the steel industry, particularly in steel plate processing.
